Hi Katie! I used this lesson with some students who were ahead of the class using some liquid watercolors I bought at a garage sale:) The students LOVED this project!! It's a great way to introduce the "happy accident" and how it can lead to great art. Thanks for sharing!

I will be taking materity leave in October and I am trying to be prepared to make sub lesson plans for 6 weeks, I have no idea where to start, do you have any suggestions or lessons that work great with a sub. The glue pump is a definite "must have" for an Elementary art teacher unless the kids bring their own glue! I always loved construction paper crayons, black sharpie markers, glittery tempera paint, and tru-ray fadeless construction paper (so beautiful)! Great list!
