It takes a lot of guts to try new th...GOOD FOR YOU! It takes a lot of guts to try new things and talk about it! I think that you are on the right track with your questioning strategy. It takes a lot longer. . . I used to worry that the class would lose interest if I couldn't answer everyone's questions right away. . . but they end up respecting you more for not giving them the answer. I notice that taking time with the lesson to ask questions, even though it might seem like a waste of time, engages a lot of students even the ones listening to your dialogue with the student. They start to say to themselves, "Okay, this teacher cares, so I'm going to be asked what I think. . . so I better start thinking!" <br /><br />This is exciting!
